How do I create an account?
Sign-up takes 90 seconds via email or via “Continue as guest” from the sign-in screen. You can convert your guest account later.
How do I cancel my subscription?
From App Store > Subscriptions (iOS) or Play Store > Payments (Android). Access stays active until the end of the period.
Can I change tier mid-month?
Yes. Upper tier is prorated, lower tier takes effect next cycle.
How do I delete my account?
Settings > Account > Delete my account. 30-day recovery window then permanent deletion.
My invitation code isn't working
Check the case (ZYM-XXXXXX, letters and digits). One code = one use.
AI, foods, recipes.
The photo scan gives me weird macros
The AI can be off on composed dishes. Tap the result to adjust manually.
How do I add a missing food?
Settings > Foods > Add. We review your additions and merge them into the base if relevant.
Can I scan recipes?
The AI scan detects dishes, not complex home recipes. For those, create the recipe manually in Meals > Recipes.
Why do calories differ between Free and Standard?
Free has 3 AI scans per week. Standard has 5 per day. No difference in calculation quality.
Are the recipes halal-friendly?
Yes, toggle Halal in Settings > Nutrition. Recipes containing pork/alcohol are excluded.
Streaks, shields, leaderboards.
What's a streak shield?
When you miss a day, a shield is automatically consumed to preserve your streak. Free: 1/month, Standard: 2/month, Pro: 5/month.
My streak broke even though I logged
Check the time zone in Settings. The streak is computed on the local date.
Difference between friendly and ranked challenge?
Friendly: no XP at stake, just for fun. Ranked: +20 XP won / -10 XP lost, max 5 ranked challenges per day.
How do I share my streak on Instagram?
Tap the home streak hero → “Share my streak” button. A 1080×1920 card is generated.
My friend doesn't show up in the list
Your friend has to accept your request. Check that they also have a ZymFit account and that your invitation code was used.
GDPR, hosting, sharing.
Is my data sold?
No, never. Our revenue comes from Standard and Pro subscriptions.
Where is my data stored?
EU hosting (OVH France). GDPR compliant. No transfer outside the EU.
How do I export my data?
Settings > Account > Export (Pro only, CSV/JSON format).
Can my partner/friend see my weight?
No by default. Social sharing is opt-in in Settings > Privacy.
Offline, multi-device, notifs.
Does the app work offline?
Reading (browsing meals, workouts) works offline. Writing syncs once the connection returns.
How many devices can connect?
Unlimited. Same account on iOS + Android + web at the same time, data synced in real time.
Does the step counter work on Android?
Yes, via Health Connect (Android 14+). iOS via HealthKit (always).
Why aren't my notifications arriving?
1) Check the system permission. 2) Settings > Notifications in the app. 3) If it still fails: restart the app.
